This one is for 
and "Spike" her amazing novel !
I bumped on her gallery back in 2013, seeing that deviation : www.deviantart.com/art/silent-… but I only read her novel last year. I encourage her to finish it and hope to see it published ! Child abuse is a very serious subject and she depicts it very well in "Spike", diving deeply into the psychology of the victim and showing a view on the abuser's mind. To sensitive minds, it can be very painful to read, but there is some bright moments thanks to the lovable Sam and his father Saunders !
Here is some sketches of Charles I did in my notebook when I was bored at school... I had no references of him, so I let my memory and imagination do the work !

Here is some sketches of Charles I did in my notebook when I was bored at school... I had no references of him, so I let my memory and imagination do the work !
So...Why Charles ? Because almost no one has drawn him in the past ! Why ? Because he's a creepy pedophile violent and abusive satanist ! That is true, he is one of the worst kind of person on the earth, but...I like him... Yes, I like him as a character because it's fascinating to see the level of atrocity a person can reach, and because he is more complex than he seems (I'm mostly referring on the scene in the end of chapter 11 oomizuao.deviantart.com/art/SP… one of my favorite parts)
I had a lot of fun drawing him ! I enjoy drawing harsh features. Although Oomizuao draw her characters as anthropomorphic animals, they are entirely humans in the novel. I can imagine Spike, Sam, Saunders and the others easily as humans ! But Charles has so much bestiality in his behavior that I can only picture him as his werewolf Lupin lookalike self ! x) Its difficult to not imagine him barking his insults to Spike with a dog snout.

You've captured him perfectly! I'm glad (and impressed!) you did these without a reference
I'm guessing that helped or made it easier in a way to capture his character and not just design - though you fricken NAILED his design, too! Seriously, I love the way you drew him, especially the one where he's staring straight though my computer screen... o_____o" You've done an absolutely awesome job on the shading in that one. He looks intense..! 
It's interesting - and nice, in a way - to read your description of him too. I mean, with the complexity you see in him and how you actually like him as a character because of that. I dislike Charles for his actions, but I have to admit that he's one of my favorite characters, because of that complexity. There was so much about him that I didn't understand and that didn't make much sense to me, like his views and thoughts in Chapter 11, but I wrote them anyways because I felt like I should - that I was supposed to write what he said and thought because I had this feeling that it'd make sense later on. I get that feeling a lot with most of my characters - all of my SPIKE-characters in fact - that they sort of act on their own and I just have to make sure I write it all down. Cause even if it doesn't make sense to me when I'm writing it, sooner or later when the time is right, the characters reveal more things to me - like more pieces of the puzzle - and soon it all makes perfect sense. Charles is a character who keeps his secrets close to him, he's someone who's very difficult to 'read', so he's been a mystery to me for almost as long as I've "known him". He's revealed more to me now, and although I know there are still a lot of things he hasn't 'told' me I feel I understand him better. Like in an empathic way, not sympathic, you know?
I can't wait till the novel is finished and you too will get to read the whole thing
